Presidential visit in Hotel Břízky

Invited by hetman of Liberec region Stanislav Eichler a precious person of highest politics – President of Czech Republic Václav Klaus visited the premises of Hotel Břízky on April 19th. Accompanied by First Lady Lívia Klausová the President had lunch.

Together with the Presidential couple a number of various important guests indulged in the celebratory lunch in our four-star hotel. Among others the Director of Public relation department in the office of President of Czech Republic Mr. Ladislav Jakl, bishop of Liteměřice dioceses Mr. Jan Baxan, chancellor of Technical University in Liberec Mr. Zdeněk Kůs, mayor of Jablonec nad Nisou Mr. Petr Beitl and directors of high schools in Jablonec nad Nisou.

Václav Klaus already visited our tennis-squash premises with four-star hotel several times as Prime Minister, and enjoyed a game of tennis with former mayor of Jablonec nad Nisou Mr. Jiří Čeřovský. Therefore the staff of Hotel Břízky was settled and ready for the visit of Mr. President.

Mr. Klaus ordered as appetizer goose liver pate with cranberry sauce, as soup beef broth with herb gnocchi, as main dish was served roast turkey roulade with Parma ham, Parmesan cheese and potato rösti and as desert was served chocolate roulade with cherries and whipped cream.

Dishes, which were prepared for the visit of the presidential couple, were suggested by the staff of the regional office of the Presidential office.

For the staff of Hotel Břízky was an honor and a tribute to entertain such an important and valuable guest.
